Wholesale Policies, Terms & Conditions
RETURN POLICY: ViaCheff will accept returns within 5 days of order delivery. There is a 15% restocking charge for all returned orders.
MOQ (minimum order quantity):
Wholesale orders must have a total value of at least $300 in the cart, before any shipping fees.
Each product type has a minimum quantity that must be purchased. Please take note of this minimum quantity in the description of each product. These minimum quantities are equal to a product’s Master Case.
Due to ongoing shipping and raw material delays caused by COVID, some products may have a temporary maximum quantity limit that you can purchase until our supply can be normalized. Products with maximum quantity limits will be identified on our website.
Please note that our products are offered at wholesale cost for resale purposes only.
As a general rule, our wholesale products are priced at 50% below our SRP (suggested retail price).
Due to these great savings, we have certain criteria that must be met in order to open a wholesale account with ViaCheff:
- You must complete a wholesale account application, providing your EIN, and Sales & Use Tax ID. Your application is subject to approval prior to purchasing at wholesale pricing.
- Accounts and Resale: Accounts will be reviewed annually. We reserve the right to cancel an account for any reason, including, but not limited to, if the account changes ownership.
- Duplication or adulteration of products or packaging, or falsely representing products as your own is strictly prohibited.
- Products purchased from ViaCheff can only be sold at or on the physical and/or virtual location(s) provided to ViaCheff at the time of account registration.
- Products must be sold under and by the company whose TAX ID number is on file.
- We reserve the right to limit or discontinue the selling of our products to parties with sales and distribution strategies not compatible to those of ViaCheff.
Order Fulfillment & Pre-Orders:
In-stock items ship within 5 business days of payment.
Items that are pre-ordered can take 4-5 weeks to ship.
If your order is mixed, including in-stock and pre-order items, allow 4-5 weeks for shipping.
To ensure faster delivery of in-stock items, we recommend making two separate orders: one for your pre-order items and one for your in-stock items.
In your cart, you can view the remaining quantity in stock.
NOTE: PORTO FORMAS Branded Products will not be available for Pre-Order.
Shipping & Handling:
The shipping charges quoted for your order are based on the total weight and dimensions of the products chosen.
For pre-orders, we will quote LTL or FTL trucking for you and costs will be added to your final invoice.
You may book your own shipping, so long as a BOL is provided at least 24 hours before the confirmed loading date.
Orders must be paid for in full in U.S. currency prior to shipment. At this time, we do not offer payment terms (Net 30, 60, 90, etc.). We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
Returns & Restocking Fees:
All orders come with a 5-day money-back guarantee. Items must be in resalable condition. Simply return the merchandise with the original invoice and a note stating your reason for return, and we will refund your purchase price.
Shipping & handling charges are not refundable, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Open and/or used items will not be accepted.
Defective, damaged, lost or missing items:
These items will be replaced by ViaCheff once we have confirmed the defect, damage, or loss of all or part of your shipment.
Please inspect products upon arrival and notify us immediately of defective products by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with proper photographic or tracking documentation.
For lost packages, please ensure you have first worked with the transport company to track your package and receive confirmation that the package has been lost.
While we work to ensure accuracy on every order, if your order arrives with missing items, please send an email to email@example.com with your order number, which items were missing, and how many.
Canceling/Changing Your Order:
We do not accept changes to orders. Please ensure that you have attentively checked your order before placing it, and then double-check the invoice prior to payment.
You may contact us as soon as possible to see if your order has already started to be processed. In the event that it has not, we will be more than happy to make changes to it within 24 hours.
Pre-orders may be canceled by ViaCheff if there are unforeseen issues with importation or lack of stock by the manufacturer. In these cases, ViaCheff will offer a full reimbursement.
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) :
The MAP policy applies to all products purchased from ViaCheff’s wholesale store. Our minimum advertised pricing requirement is 85% of the Suggested Retail Price (SRP), which is a 15% discount off of our SRP.
Our SRP will always be the price displayed for the same item on ViaCheff.com, or you may ask us at any moment to confirm our SRPs.
Resellers may offer products on promotion at a lower advertised discount only with written permission from ViaCheff.
The MAP policy may be adjusted by ViaCheff at its sole discretion.
To protect our resellers from unfair competition and to maintain the brand’s image, ViaCheff will regularly review all reseller commerce sites and conduct in-depth web searches to ensure consistent adherence to this policy.
In cases of violation of this MAP policy, resellers will be allowed 24 hours to bring all advertising into compliance. Warnings and written notices may not be provided. Failure to comply immediately will result in discontinued shipments and possible account termination. ViaCheff reserves the right to cancel or limit the sale of its products to parties whose sales and distribution strategies are incompatible with those of ViaCheff.
ViaCheff may update these wholesale policies at any moment and without notice. By placing a wholesale order, you are stating that you understand and adhere to all policies set forth here by ViaCheff.
Wholesaler account cancellation:
After account activation, if the wholesaler does not make the first purchase within 90 days, the account will be canceled without prior notice.
